History
For several years, Brad Ewalt, president and founder of ClaimTrak Systems, Incorporated (ClaimTrak), worked as a system solution consultant for several behavioral health agencies in the state of Arizona. Brad discovered that many of these agencies were attempting to implement client management and claims processing software designed for general healthcare organizations, providers of physical health and hospital services. To a large extent, these applications did not meet the needs of behavioral healthcare providers and agencies were forced to either radically change their processes or abandon electronic systems.

To meet the specific needs of behavioral health providers, Brad founded ClaimTrak Systems, Incorporated (ClaimTrak) in 1990. ClaimTrak software was designed and developed with direct input from county-based behavioral health authorities and multiple behavioral health providers and offered the behavioral health community a useable client management and claims processing software package.

In 1999, ClaimTrak expanded its scope of services by creating ClaimTrak Management Group, LLC, a division of ClaimTrak Systems, Incorporated, designed to provide financial, operational and managerial consulting services for behavioral healthcare providers.
